In some communities, finding safe communal space where children and their families can exercise can be difficult. Many communities have solved this problem with Joint Use Agreements (JUA). A JUA is an agreement between two government entities, like a school and a city, that defines the terms of use for a shared public space or facility. For example, a school can open up their gym after hours for community use. The great thing about JUA is that there is no right or wrong way to do them.  To learn more about JUA check out the video below,  ChangeLab Solution  and Joint Use.
